These are the latest etchings I have createdClick on the etching for an enlarged image plus size, edition and pricing information.
Pond
This is another print using the small square format I am using a good deal at the moment. The pond is in fact a section of High Dam, near Newby Bridge, Windermere. In this print I was exploring the different layers of the scene – reflected sky and trees, lily pads on the surface of the water and the stalks of the leaves disappearing into the water.
News
September 2008: International House of JapanI am delighted that my etching “Tokyo Garden” is now hanging in The International House of Japan in Tokyo. The International House of Japan is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting cultural exchange and intellectual cooperation between the peoples of Japan and those of other countries. It was the garden at this wonderful establishment that inspired my etching, “Tokyo Garden,” so I am delighted it now hangs in the International House.

April: Printfest 2008
I’ll be exhibiting my work, along with that of 35 other printmakers, at Printfest, in the Lake District town of Ulverston, from 2nd – 4th May. This is a great chance to meet printmakers and enjoy a wide variety of work. The event is being held during the Bank Holiday weekend so it’s a great chance to come to the Lakes and enjoy wonderful prints and see the Lakes at their most perfect.
